Personal Assistance Throughout Sweden
Personal Assistance Shaped Together With You
Your everyday life, your choices and what matters to you are the starting point.
Personal assistance should support you in living the way you choose and give you meaningful influence over how your assistance is planned and provided.
At Apricot, we begin by understanding your needs, routines, preferences and way of communicating. You are welcome to contact us whether you already have personal assistance, are applying for support or are considering changing provider.

Understanding Personal Assistance
Personal Assistance Under LSS
Individual support intended to strengthen influence over everyday life
Personal assistance is individually designed support under LSS for people who, because of major and lasting disabilities, need help with their basic needs. When the relevant conditions are met, the support may also cover other personal needs.
Entitlement and the extent of assistance are assessed by the municipality or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Apricot does not make public-authority decisions, but we can help you understand the process, organise relevant questions and gain a clearer overview of possible next steps.

Municipality / Swedish Social Insurance Agency
Assesses entitlement and decides the extent of personal assistance according to the applicable rules and the individual situation.
Who Does What?
Clear roles build trust: Apricot supports the process, but does not make the authority decision.

Apricot Assistans
Helps you understand the process, organise relevant questions and receive administrative guidance about possible next steps.
